Author ProfileAbstract
Tinea capitis, common in prepubescent children but rare in infants, is a
significant public health concern. Lack of consistency in its
presentation in infants as well as variation in geographic location can
complicate its diagnosis, necessitating a thorough diagnostic workup
plan in patients with high index of suspicion.
