Four adult males died within 18.5 hours due to effect of local liquor
consumption in a hilly district of Gandaki province of Nepal. Methanol
toxicity due to illicitly produced alcohol consumption should be managed
with adequate supportive care and administration of specific antidotes
such as ethanol or fomepizole.
