Main question: What is the difference between Hydraulics
and Pneumatics?Time: 30 mins.
Procedure:
- Students will use the assembled Rocket launcher module to move the
Rocket up and down using pneumatic force generated by syringes.
- Students will fill the syringes with water to observe the effect of
hydraulics on the pushing force.
- Students will fill the syringes with different materials such as oil
and soap and compare their effects using the following worksheet.
Students will draw their conclusions based on these simple experiments
and conduct further research on topics such as density, pressure, and
force.
